In the morning, we will depart for Drama. First stop will be at Aggiti's cave, which is the biggest cave in the whole world with length 21 kilometers. You will have the chance to see huge stalactites and stalagmites. The cave is also known as Cave of Maara which means "small cave" in Arabics and "water from the mountain" in Hebrew. Then, we will visit a local winery, which is also producing the wine of the championship. Return in Kavala.

Tuesday: Philippi / Baptistery / Ammolofi
Starting Hour: 09.00
Starting from Kavala, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Philippi and the Ancient Theatre, which both have intense historical and cultural interest. During the whole road, you will have the chance to learn about Kavala's history and the first steps of Apostle Paul towards Europe. After the archaeological site, we will visit Lydia's Baptistery, who was the first woman who got baptized Christian. Finally, we will go towards one of the most famous and clean beaches in North Greece, named Ammolofi. We will enjoy the crystal clear waters in one of the best beach bars.

During the tour we will meet some of the most characteristic buildings and monuments of the town like the Tobacco Museum, the Town Hall, the old Tobacco Warehouses, the aqueduct "Kamares", Saint Paul's Monument etc. and we will taste Greek coffee, olives, traditional cookies "Kourabiedes" and ouzo with appetizers.

Thursday: Old Town of Kavala, Panagia / Castle / Archaeological Museum

Meet Kavala's history by walking in its old town, named Panagia. We will start from Kamares (the old aqueduct) and we will walk towards the castle. We will see the Blue Mosque, Mohamed Ali's house and you will be amazed by the gorgeous view from up there. As we are leaving the old town and we go towards the new town, we will see Imaret, which is a marvelous building donated by Mohamed Ali of Egypt. It will follow a visit to the archaeological museum which has findings from the prehistoric period, from Neapolis and Amfipolis.
