LABUD SAILING CLUB IN SPLIT REMAINS FINN WORLD MASTER’S VENUE FOR 2010

Today, September 15^th 2009, I informed the Labud Sailing Club in Split that they have convinced me that they meet our “Guidelines” regarding accommodation and that we will be very happy to sail the Finn World Masters Championship in Split in 2010 from May 23^rd till 28^th.

About the rest of our “Guidelines” we already had full agreement during my visit from July 14^th till 16^th of this year, so without any doubt I think we will have a great Championship there, like we had it in 2002.

The FWM 2010 event website is already on air and gives information about the event and about accommodation. It can be reached by clicking the button “Masters 2010” on this site.

Besides that I found a Google Maps site which gives additional information about accommodation. When you click on a red dot you will be given more information about this accommodation. You can reach it by clicking here. The Labud Sailing Club lies at the West side of the harbor entrance on “Uvala Baluni“.

I hope a lot of us will enter for the Finn World Masters in this beautiful venue and that we will meet in Split in May 2010 to have another unforgettable Championship.
