The Sailing Club of Kavala of the Municipality of Pangai organizes from May 26 to June 2, 2023, the World Sailing Championship Finn Masters 2023 in the waters of the bay of Nea Heraklitsa. A sailing event that will allow 156 sailors from 29 countries to get to know and remember, as some were also present in 2015 at the corresponding event in Kavala, the beauties of our region.
Such an effort requires the convergence of many factors in order to be successful. From the first moment they were close to us and we co-organize together, the Regional Unit of Kavala and the Municipality of Pangaio. The Deputy Governor, Mr. Alexis Politis, believed in and actively supported our effort, while the Deputy Mayor of the Free Municipal Unit, Mr. Christos Prionidis, is present in whatever need arises in the area of the organization. Accordingly, we thank the President of the Municipal Council, Mr. Christos Bosbotis, and the Mayor of Pangaio, Mr. Anastasiadis Filippos, for the decision to co-organize the championship. The Kavala Chamber of Commerce also took over as a sponsor, with its president Marco Demba supporting the event.
But the positive thing is that the business world of the wider region is by our side.

Preparations have intensified recently and the site and the beach were cleaned by the Municipality, while next week the first sailors are expected. The parking area of Nea Iraklitsa will be filled with boats and colors, while sails will appear in the bay of Nea Iraklitsa.

Ο Ιστιοπλοϊκός Όμιλος Καβάλας Δήμου Παγγαίου διοργανώνει από 26 Μαΐου έως 2 Ιουνίου 2023, το Παγκόσμιο Πρωτάθλημα Ιστιοπλοΐας Finn Masters 2023 στα νερά του κόλπου της Νέας Ηρακλείτσας. Ένα ιστιοπλοϊκό γεγονός που θα επιτρέψει σε 156 ιστιοπλόους από 29 χώρες να γνωρίσουν αλλά και να θυμηθούν, καθώς κάποιοι ήταν παρόντες και το 2015 στην αντίστοιχη διοργάνωση στην Καβάλα, τις ομορφιές της περιοχής μας.

Μία τέτοια προσπάθεια απαιτεί την σύμπλευση πολλών παραγόντων ώστε να είναι επιτυχημένη. Από την πρώτη στιγμή ήταν κοντά μας και συνδιοργανώνουμε μαζί, η Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Καβάλας και ο Δήμος Παγγαίου. Ο Αντιπεριφερειάρχης κος Αλέξης Πολίτης πίστεψε και στήριξε ενεργά την προσπάθειά μας ενώ ο αντιδήμαρχος της Δημοτικής ενότητας Ελευθερών Κος Χρήστος Πριονίδης, είναι παρών σε ότι ανάγκη προκύπτει στο χώρο της διοργάνωσης. Αντίστοιχα ευχαριστούμε τον Πρόεδρο του Δημοτικού Συμβουλίου Κο Χρήστο Μποσμπότη και τον Δήμαρχο Παγγαίου κο Αναστασίαδη Φίλιππο, για την απόφαση να συνδιοργανώσουμε το πρωτάθλημα. Χορηγός επίσης ανέλαβε και το Εμπορικό Επιμελητήριο Καβάλας με τον πρόεδρο του Κο Μάρκο Δέμπα να στηρίζει τη διοργάνωση.

Το θετικό όμως είναι ότι ο επιχειρηματικός κόσμος της ευρύτερης περιοχής είναι δίπλα μας.
